bec is an australian curator, writer, educator and consultant with a background in photomedia and performance art. she has recently completed a phd at the university of new south wales, art and design, australia. she has worked for multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary contemporary arts organisations in australia since 1996 and has been curating interdisciplinary and experimental exhibitions and producing events for two decades.

bec is the chair of the award-winning pyt | fairfield, and dlux media arts and is the lead curator of the 2019 cementa festival, kandos. bec has been instrumental in encouraging, supporting and championing pvi’s work over the past 20 years and even made special guest appearances in panopticon and tts: perth
