Annalee’s path into the arts began with posters and comedy in 2017. As a freelance graphic designer, creating posters and collateral brought her into contact with various comedians and comedy rooms in the perth scene. Discovering that she enjoyed hanging out at dodgy open mics every week, Annalee eventually got involved with Comedy Live at the Carwash – an open mic run out of an actual carwash garage, and later with charity show Canned Comedy (where the price of admission was a donated can of food), helping run front of house and general management.
She did her first Fringe season as an independent producer in 2019, branching out into production, and has also worked for The Gelo Company since 2018 in roles such as admin and marketing. Previously with the Gelo Company, Annalee shared a building with pvi at their Brisbane St location.
Annalee continues her involvement with the perth comedy scene on the board of the Laugh Resort, Perth’s longest running comedy organisation, and with her work as a producer and graphic designer for various local artists.
Annalee worked with pvi collective between 2021 and 2023 in a role which she feels synergises her combination of skills and experience across design, marketing, admin, and production.
During that time she has since become addicted to tea under the influence of her new pvi comrades.
