pvi collaborates with drama box and teater ekamatra in singapore
14 November 2019see what the collaboration has been producing
Over a course of 20 days in November 2018, artists from pvi collective, Drama Box and Teater Ekamatra came together through workshops, public talks and closed door jamming sessions to gain deeper insights into each other’s practices.
One year on, the artists from the 3 groups – Steve Bull & Chris McCormick (pvi collective), Koh Hui Ling & Han Xuemei (Drama Box), Shawn Chua, Bani Haykal & Shahila Baharom (Teater Ekamatra) – came together once again to investigate how technology and its use can shape and expand possibilities within their practice.
This lab looks to unearth new aspects of their respective practices and will take a collaborative approach to supportive critique and problem solving, with each company bringing one unresolved artwork to the table.
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from the artists at the end of the lab process, as they reflect on their insights and discoveries!
