ben is a internationally renowned choreographer and director, working in dance, opera and theatre. ben is also an experienced independent teacher who regularly mentors younger artists and facilitates workshops. he presently shares the role of Artistic co-director at Candoco Dance Company [uk] and is the artistic director of his own company bgroup [uk]. he was associate director of skanes dansteater [swe] from 2014 – 2017  where ben presented our work deviator in 2015 as well as an intensive masterclass on using the city as a creative canvas. bens’ generosity and unique insight into the expansive potential of movement led to one of the most powerful iterations of deviator. we are super excited at the prospect of working with ben in 2020 during a collaboration facilitated by strut dance, perth.
