boorloo-based arts administrator and numbers whiz sherry brings 20 years’ experience in the not-for-profit and arts sectors. she has previously provided financial and operational support to some of australia’s most prominent cultural organisations (sensorium theatre, perth centre for photography, melbourne festival, linden new art). she is currently also serving as treasurer at cool change gallery and performance space (an artist-run initiative).
alongside finance, sherry is a multidisciplinary artist, working across photography, sculpture, video, and installation. her 2024 exhibition at goolugatup heathcote explored consumerism and migration, reflecting on her family’s experiences, particularly her mother’s journey from the philippines to australia.
sherry’s balancing of artistic and administrative roles allows her to bridge the worlds of creativity & organisational management. she is dedicated to ensuring artistic visions are matched with financial sustainability, so projects can thrive both creatively and practically.
