innovative, strategic and dynamic arts leader signs on

Producer Anna Reece has been announced as the new chair of pvi collective.

Anna Reece is the Executive Producer at Perth Festival where she plays a key role in nurturing the artistic vision and creating the strategy for its implementation.

An innovative, strategic and dynamic arts leader Anna has over 15 years experience spanning the Australian non-for-profit arts and culture sector.

An executive producer, programmer and general manager her career focus has sat predominantly within major multi-arts festivals. Her work experience is both broad and diverse, with a particular focus on producing new Australian work and leading sector capacity development.

Reece said she was thrilled be joining the board of PVI Collective in the leadership role.

“This is a ambitious, socially and globally engaged, future thinking, mould breaking artist collective. Renowned for their site-specific participatory work alongside their unwavering commitment to supporting and mentoring independent artists and groups, PVI are game changers in every sense of the word.

“It is an honour and a thrill to join PVI Collective as Chair and to play a role in heralding their achievements and most critically, supporting their ambition here in Western Australia, nationally and internationally.” Reece said.

The company’s chief executive artist and co-founder Kelli McCluskey shared her excitement about Reece coming on-board.

“We are so pumped about having Anna as part of the pvi crew. She is an extraordinary advocate for local Perth artists, she has an incredible depth of experience in supporting, producing and championing contemporary live practice locally, nationally and internationally and is a total boss lady in terms of sector leadership.” Kelli McCluskey said.

Anna Reece replaces Amanda Morrison who stepped down from the role in 2018. Helen Curtis has served as Interim Chair while the search for a new Chair was conducted.
