Amanda is an Australian based Producer who has worked in the content industry both domestically and internationally for over 20 years. Amanda has unique national and international working knowledge within both the traditional and new media content production markets. She has held various management roles with large media companies and produced independent content for distributors and broadcasters. In addition she has delivered large-scale technology infrastructure projects across multiple platforms and produced community engagement projects. Her experience includes online content, television, film, itv, live performance, visual art and interactive media production across a range of technology platforms. She is a New Media pioneer, working for NTL (UK) within the founding interactive content management team that launched the world’s first digital iTV services.
In 2010 she founded RKPix with producer, Robyn Kershaw (Sucker, Save Your Legs, Bran Nue Dae) to develop and produce transmedia projects in relation to feature film and television content. She founded Transmedia for Change Pty Ltd (2014) and produced and directed an 8 minute short film “Rebuild It Better” for the United Nations, UNAI 2015 symposium that was broadcast live online at http:// webtv.un.org from the New York, UN Headquarters September 11th symposium. Amanda partners with other leading edge production companies to use technology to create stories that ignite positive change within our networked culture. Her company, Transmedia For Change recognises that technology provides the tools to empower and mobilise audiences to participate.
