resist at curtin university

we had a great time at curtin university running resist with students telling us the issues that are dividing the community there.

thanks to our student volunteers sean guastavino and jessica nyanda moyle

contests included:

  • the people vs budget cuts
  • the people vs apathy
  • the people vs lonely post-grads
  • the people vs poo

resist is our live tug-of-war event aimed at testing the notion of conflict and the potential of people power to enact change. originally conceived as part of the south project gathering in santiago, chile, resist has since gone on to be performed in various sites and contexts including taking on the national cultural policy, the president of chile, the perth police commissioner and residents of junee, nsw whilst on-board a moving train.
