Chris Williams has a BA in English and Philosophy with a focus on Performance, and studied Visual Arts at Curtin University.  His work spans performance, live art, installation, intervention, experimental art, CACD and socially engaged practices.  He works across mediums choosing those that best relate to the conceptual base of the work and subject material.

Chris has been a member of pvi collective since its inception in 1998 and stepped away as part of the creative team in 2022. He is the Creative Producer for DADAA ltd, bringing contemporary practices to socially motivated works with disadvantaged communities across Perth, regionally and internationally (Ireland, Bangladesh, South Africa).

Recent works include: blackmarket at Performance Space (Sydney) and Perth Festival, and a tour of deviator to Sweden (Malmo Festival) and Denmark (Waves Festival).

his current work Field of the Unwanted, commissioned by IAS (International Art Space) was launched in late February 2018.
